Another local Mackay Basketball standout is making her mark on the U.S College Basketball scene.

Former McDonald’s Mackay Meteorettes NBL1 Point Guard Paris Santacaterina recently signed with the University of San Diego Toreros women’s NCAA Division 1 basketball team in California.

Her signing is on the back of a stellar 2 years of play at Dodge City Community College where Paris earned third-team NJCAA Division 1 All-American honours after helping the Conqs to a 27-7 record, an NJCAA D1 National Tournament appearance, while leading the team in scoring at 14.9 points per game, also adding 6 rebounds, 4.5 assists & 1.7 steals over the season!
