Mackay Basketball members are advised the date of the 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM) is Wednesday 15th March 2023 at 6pm.
The meeting is to be held at McDonald’s Mackay Multi-Sports Stadium, 107 Juliet Street, Mackay 4740.
The following Executive and Committee of Management positions are up for re-election:
- President
- Treasurer
- Secretary
- Domestic Competitions Chairperson
- Senior Representative Chairperson
The following Ordinary Member positions are up for re-election;
- Junior Representative Committee
- Senior Representative Committee
- Technical Officials Committee
- Ladies Daytime Committee
In order to vote, under the constitution, you must fall into one of the following categories:
- Life Member
- Playing Member – A who is registered to participate in any competition by the Association is a sporting member. (18+ years of age)
- Parent Members – A parent or guardian of a playing member who has not reached the age of 18 at the time of a General Meeting may nominate to the Secretary in writing fourteen (14) days prior to the General Meeting that he or she represents the junior playing member under 18 years of age.
- Other Members (Coach, Assistant Coach, Technical Official and Volunteers) – Applications for Associate Memberships can be collected from the office.
