Hello Mackay Basketball Members and families.
This is the latest update from Mackay Basketball to keep you informed.
Contactless Entry System
Mackay Basketball is currently utilising a ‘contactless’ sign in system for visitors to the McDonald’s Mackay Multi-Sports Stadium. Using your smart phone, simply take a picture or scan the code at the entrance doors and follow the instructions.
For iPhone users, taking a picture of the code automatically triggers the prompts and takes approximately 30-seconds to complete.
For non-iPhone users, please download a QR Scanner App on your phone before arriving, to ensure you are ready to scan upon entry. Once you scan, the process also takes approximately 30-seconds to complete.
For those of you without a smart phone, simply complete your details on the sheet provided.
Please Note: When MBI competitions do get back underway, PLAYERS ONLY will not have to sign in, as they will already be registered through the Courtside scoring app.
Junior Sign-On
The Mackay Basketball Junior Sign-on Event for our 2020-21 Championship Season is being held this Saturday, July 18 at the McDonald’s Mackay Multi-Sports Stadium from 9am – 12 noon.
Online Registration
Junior and Senior players can register online themselves now! Simply click on the link below and follow the steps.
For those of you who played last season and are re-registering, please use the email address used previously when doing so. This will ensure that your Basketball Queensland fee is checked, as you may not need to pay this BQ fee again, if it’s current. If it comes up as a “I don’t think we’ve met before, are you new?”, you have used the wrong email address.
The Deadline for Senior Teams is Monday, 21st of July at 3pm.
The Deadline for Junior Teams is Friday, 24th of July 2020 5pm.
Fairplay Vouchers
For all players utilising a Queensland Government Fairplay voucher this season, to complete your registration process please contact our Competitions Coordinator, Aimee Wicks on 4957 5543 or email admin@mackaybasketball.com.au
